> YA37 > Career Development Activity - ABC of Metro Washinton Presentation
On September 15, 2008, Jason Roberts, Director of Education for Associated Builders and Contractors of Metro Washington conducted a presentation for all of the construction technology students at Thomas Edison High School of Technology. All students in the construction programs are also registered in the ABC apprenticeship and craft trainee program and are listed in the National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) database. NCCER's National Registry is a national database maintained by NCCER. It tracks the names of individuals who have successfully completed any of the standardized ContrenĀ® Learning Series curriculum. NCCER sponsors, contractors, and individuals can obtain instant access to current and potential employees' training history. In addition, Foundation Office staff, Judyn Rengers and Mike Fekete provided information about the Montgomery County Students Construction Trades Foundation, Inc.
